My top tip is to pack a rucksack for each child before a long journey containing favourite toys, some sweets, tissues/wipes and a drink .

get them to draw a map of your journey, trace the route & point out landmarks so they will have a sense of where they are going

Top tips for Car travel with kids

If you are going on a long trip set off at their bedtime and they will more than likely sleep the whole journey. Lots of snacks help too!

Start out early so they fall asleep for part of the journey and make plenty of stops along the way.
