Take plenty of toys, games, DVD's, drinks and snacks to keep them busy and happy. Also cloths and plastic bags for any mishaps.

If you are going on a long trip set off at their bedtime and they will more than likely sleep the whole journey. Lots of snacks help too!

Start out early so they fall asleep for part of the journey and make plenty of stops along the way.
