I hate night driving! I give them a phone each ( free mins) let them take pics and talk "secretly" by phone so noone hears!

Have DVD Machines for each of them and a stack of their DVD's for them to watch. Along with food and drinks to thair individual likings.

long trip? Put a open nappy under a towel on their carseat, and you won't have to use the layby and put yourself or child in danger.

Make sure the windows are fitted with sunscreens as sunlight is a main reason for upset. Have a favourite toy or dummy attached to seat/baby

Seats secured with ISOFIX, healthy snacks on picnic table; ipad, games, story books. Sing songs, play "I spy with my little eye".

If you are going on a long trip set off at their bedtime and they will more than likely sleep the whole journey. Lots of snacks help too!

Start out early so they fall asleep for part of the journey and make plenty of stops along the way.
