Always pack a laptop with dvd player...make sure you've downloaded some good films!

Plenty to entertain them, prepare games beforehand, I-spy, battleships, draughts. Have their favourite cds in the car, dvds/portable player

With our 2 year old it's good to take regular breaks when possible and make them fun by having playtime so he enjoys it

Think of places along the journey to visit, and split it up a bit. And allow plenty of time.
