Make them take their games, mp3s etc to keep them amused with earphones then they are not disturbing you as much.

Take along a portable DVD player and and some DVD's. it will help keep them entertained and maybe help send them off to sleep !

Start out early so they fall asleep for part of the journey and make plenty of stops along the way.
