Have something to keep them occupied especially for a long journey

Make them take their games, mp3s etc to keep them amused with earphones then they are not disturbing you as much.

Portable DVD player and a IPOD touch. More importantly a decent pair of headphones.

in car DVD players

have plenty of drinks with lids, take snacks that you can put in tubs with lids, and travelling cards to play games

Keep them amused always whether games.dvds or even drawing

PLENTY OF GAMES TO PASS THE TIME

Take along a portable DVD player and and some DVD's. it will help keep them entertained and maybe help send them off to sleep !

Get them something to do!

a good sense of humour and lots of stops at interesting places along the way

Make sure they use the toilet just before leaving the house!

play games - e.g. who will be the first to see a silver coloured Mazda5

tell them that your travellling in a Mazda 5, they will know that they are tavelling in style making for a quite and peaceful Drive.

Have Playstation 3 or XBox, will travel

Take Ds consoles and lots of games, this way they wont be asking every two minutes "are we there yet?"
