Let little ones travel in their pyjamas, so if they are sleeping when you arrive, you can lift them into bed without waking them again!

Make a list for them to spot along long journeys eg.boat, cow, etc keeps thier mind occupied so no need to use food to occupy them.

do a lucky dip bag full of treats and small games to do on journey, let them pick one every 15-30 mins depending on how long the journey is.

not to give a travel-sick prone child any dairy based food prior / or on a journey as this brings on sickness for sure!

having a 4 & 8 yrs old child I changed the old taditional games like I-spy by using colours or shapes & both enjoy this!

make sure kids are involved in conversations and also keep them hydrated adequately during the journey!
