Split arguing siblings up by sitting one in the front with the driver + one in the back with the the other parent then swop over during trip

Talk to them rather than switch on the radio/cd. Engage them with what's OUTSIDE the car. Guess what to expect in the next 10 minutes.

Get them to grasp the concept of travelling across the country - even helping with map reading... depending on their age.

Take a favourite toy each, their snuggle blanket and drinks and snacks. Also make up a cd of all of their favourite songs! Happy kids!!
