When travelling with my kids i always play car count , picking a color of a car and seeing who gets most , kids still play it

If you are going on a long trip set off at their bedtime and they will more than likely sleep the whole journey. Lots of snacks help too!

Start out early so they fall asleep for part of the journey and make plenty of stops along the way.
